Offering everything from simple repairs to complex restoration, all of our work is undertaken with the utmost of care, craftsmanship and attention to detail, to help get your instrument into optimal playing condition.
Just like a car or bicycle, your instrument should be looked over regularly to ensure everything is running smoothly. A clean and a once-over can save a lot of heartache and expense down the line.
Changes in the weather, or an unexpected knock can cause small damages like a crack, an open seam, a broken bridge or a mysterious buzzing noise. After years of play, you may find that your fingerboard has developed wear under the strings, which can cause discomfort and a buzzing noise while playing. These, and many more examples, should be taken care of at your earliest convenience to prevent further damage.
As with everything done at Pacific Violins, larger scale restorations are completed with meticulous care, excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.
A full report on any damage, repairs and restorations can be provided for the purpose of sale or insurance. Please note, this will not include a valuation.
